Car Seat Headrest 2022 tour 9.5/10

first, I already was prepared to be excited no matter what the concert would actually be. I stayed off anything car seart headrest on the internet, as to avoid any spoilers to the show. then the day of came, and i was not more estatic. this was so cool. first, the opening act, bartees strange was incredible, they had immense stage presence and he had such range! he could have this smooth talking voice, and be belting the next second. then the opening for the main act. car. seat. headrest. it opens with this spoken word, and it really did help build the atmosphere. then it built up into crows. it hyped me so much since they rarely play stuff before signing to their record label.

the next moments were a blur in my mind, but in the moment, it was so clear. fill in the blank played next, and with it brought an intense energy from the crowd. after this was hymn. it was the remix from the digital version of the album, and it was pretty good, but I would've liked to see the original that was on the physicals, would've given a nice change of pace. next came hollywood. i honestly thought this was the worst song of their new record, but this was such a refresher. the tone was more fuzzy and the rap verse from andrew was good. bodys was the next song and i was expecting the crowd to go the most crazy, and in the moment, i thought it was. that was until destroyed by hippie powers played. when the prechorus hit, there was someone crowdsurfing, and it was just so rowdy. i also think someone was smoking weed during this song. after this, the concert mellowed out with sober to death. very very good. after this was it's only sex, which was very unexpected. especitally more so after the fact its the 2nd times its been played live. ever! And it was a fantastic arrangement, except for the fact that someone with the biggest head moved infront of me and i could barely see will. they moved away after a little bit, but that was kinda annoying.
I believe at this point, This is when the crowd was at it's rowdiest. someone threw a shirt at will, somone started using a weed pen and blowing huge clouds of smoke into the air, and there people crowd surfing right after one another. it soured my mood a little, cause i was hoping people would have a little more respect. Following this song, Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales was next, and i especially liked this arrangement. the ticking rhythm gave it a nice quality. Next was Its My Child, I'll Do What I like, Which was a song by ethan. WOW! oh my god. it was so intense, Ethan's powerful energy was a nice contrast to will's smooth moving energy. Jumping around the stage, shredding, shirtless. oh i forgot to mention that ethan took his shirt off 3 songs into the set. Next was beach life-in-death. Very very good. It was dynamic and I belted all the lyrics at the top of my lungs for 14 minutes. The final song on the set was deadlines (hostile) and it was a good arrangement. honestly not my favorite song from Making A Door Less Open, but i enjoyed this arrangement. And with that, the show is over. Other things that I forgot to mentions were will's suit, where he was dressed as trait, and the eyes glowed in time with the music. very very cool. will was dancing on stange most of the time when he wasn't singing, doing what looked like the worm but he was still on his feet. the set behind them was a wall of LEDs, and it really did help build the atmosphere. On drunk drivers/Killer whales, the lights were rotating with the ticking, on its only sex, it was hot pink and softer movements of the lights, and during the chorus of most of the songs it would flash quickly. Overall, even if the crowd was kinda rude, this was the best concert i've ever been to, and I can't wait to go back

bruce sprinsteen live 1975 - 1984 5/10

when i walked into th record store, This album immediately caught my eye. 5 LPs for 15 bucks!? What a steal! But, after listening to all 4 hours of this album, I can say without a doubt, I should've picked the white album by the beatles.
first, the positives. I enjoyed how the box set itself was layed out. on top, there was a lyric/photobook of all the songs featured, and with each song, there was a song from the tour. on each sleeve that held the records, there were the tracklist on that LP, plus a tour photo. Again, The price was honestly a steal 5 LPs for 15 bucks was an amazing price that i couldn't pass up. The quality of the records of themselves were fairly good, assuming that they were from 1985. The downside is that the music was honestly forgettable. other than his 2 big hits (born in the USA, Born To run) i have a hard time distiguishing one song from another. honestly kinda boring.

Red Hot Chili peppers 2022 Tour
8/10
Wow. That Was a really, really, cool as hell concert. the opening acts were thundercat and haim, i wasn't able to catch thundercat but he was probably very good, much like haim. Haim's music honestly isn't my style but I do like the songwriting. then came the main act. the red hot chili peppers. the concert starts with a jam between flea, chad smith, and john frusciante, which then led into around the world. very very cool. between songs, flea would be the one that is talking, and was honestly a much better frontman than anthony keidis. one song that i thought was weird that they added to the set list was throw away your television. i honestly didn't like that one. i personally would've swapped it with universally speaking, but i don't write the setlists. snow (hey oh) was a really good song, especially to see john frusciante play it, as it is just so good, especially since he wrote the riff. in between songs, there would be jams between the band members and it goes to show the chemistry that they have. the set was finished with otherside, black summer, californication, and give it away, which are all very strong songs. they came back for an encore of i could have lied and by the way. I was honestly very suprised they didn't play under the bridge or even can't stop, as i though they were their most popular songs. i was also hoping they would play higher ground, but they didn't. still, it was an extremely good concert.

Hella Mega Tour
10/10
This is a recollection of my memory of a concert that happened nearly a year ago at this point. but damn. was this the coolest concert ever. when we got there, we had missed the opeing act of the interrupters. im sure they were good. the first act was weezer, who i got the tickets for in the first place. the set was pretty good, mainly made up of songs from van weezer and blue. i honestly didn't like the van weezer songs, even if they were made for this tour. i also liked the live rendition of "all my favorite songs" and how they changed it up to fit their tour setup. My personal favorite song from the setlist was honestly "surf wax america" 'cause it's my favorite song from blue, and i nearly screamed in joy when i heard the riff. weezer closed their set with bully holly, which was pretty good in it's own right. the only major thing i didn't like about weezer was the stage and the graphics, it didn't deviate from the color scheme of teal and pink, which was kinda understandable considering the props were teal and pink but i would've liked more diversity in the staging. next was fall out boy. there were the ones i was looking least towards, mainly just because i had no interest in them, but they were really good regardless. i don't have much to say about their music as i can't really point out their songs, but the one that stood out to me the most was "this ain't a scene, it's an arms race" that song was very good and i wish i had heard it earlier. the set they had was very interesting, it gave a very extra terrerstial feeling, kinda drippy droopy, with like exposed rebar and scaffolding. i did like for the last song of their set, frontmanguy was on the piano which was then lit on fire. very very cool. the final act was green day. holy fuck. wow. before their set even began, bohemain rhapsody played on the speakers. everyone was singing, and when the guitar kicks in during the solo, you could just look around and see everyone just start headbanging, hair moving everywhere, and just the most powerful crowd chanting. when the band did take stage, they immediately opened with "american idiot" with the most absolute explosive energy i have ever seen from a concert. the main set mainly consisted of their biggest hits, with a good few songs from dookie, like "hitchin a ride", "longview", "welcome to paradise", "she", and "basket case" i can't recall which song it was, but billie joe armstrong brought someone up on stage to play a song and at they end he let them keep the guitar. how cool! another thing i want to mention is how everyone was jumping up and down, to the point where you can feel the stadium shake. honestly kinda scary. I did like their set, which looked bare bones but was dynamic. it mainly consisted of the large screen in the back, adjustable lights, the stairs on which the drum kit was on. the stairs had LEDs on them. my favorite part of their set was the adjustable lights they had. it was like these light strips that were held by wires on each end, but they could raise and lower them, and also raise and lower each side, so it could change depending on the song. i can't recall how it was, but during certain songs they would be super low, while in other songs, they would be higher up, and some songs it would be a mix of the two. i also think sparks came out of them during "21 guns". they ended their set with "good riddance (time of your life)" which was a very good send off to the concert as a whole. this was the coolest concert i have ever been to. i want to go again. holy fuck it was so cool. the fact im still thinking about it a year from then just goes to show how good it was.

Jack Johnson - Meet the Moonlight Tour
8/10
! I don't remember the whole setlist, but there was a good amount of songs from in between dreams, my favorite album, and he played Upside Down, Which I was really hoping to see live
when Harper opened for him, and he was also really good, very nice music. Although he was soloing on the slidge guitar for like 10 mins and it seemed to kinda drag on. He did play his song from.the curious George album which caught me off guard.
During Jacks set, Paula Fuga came on stage, and did country road live, which was really cool, and then they got Ben harper back on to do a song that jack wrote and gave to paula, which was pretty cool. During the encore, it was just jack but during better together, jack Johnson got all of musicians including the openers, Ron artis and thunderstorm artis, Ben Harper, and the band back on stage, and it was a really nice moment.
My only complaint was that the people next to me and behind me wouldn't stop talking, and that as soon as better together was done, my mom and I had to run out of the venue to get to our car fast enough so we weren't stuck in traffic.
